The Philippine Eaglecom Society Incorporated (EAGLECOM), or 124th PAF ARU, has been affiliated with the Philippine Air Force since 1990. The 124th PAF ARU is an Affiliate Reserve Unit whose members and capabilities are voluntarily under the authority of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

The primary purpose of the group is to provide redundant communication systems  to the Philippine Air Force. Therefore, apart from the manpower or reservists, various communication equipment is also furnished by the group: from repeater systems, portable and mobile radios to drones, vehicles, and the like. 124th PAF ARU has been providing the Philippine Air Force with their communication requirements which are being used for various operations and training, as well as personnel.

124th PAF ARU has also been involved in various undertakings in support of the programs and missions of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). The unit has proven itself reliable, through its capabilities and participation, in AFP's activities. Public and community service are also a big part of the Unit’s thrust, which has been proven by the numerous awards and recognitions received.

From radio communication with the use of repeater systems, the presence of drones and licensed drone pilots/operators have been a significant addition to the unit’s capabilities. Recently, they played a major role in surveillance and patrol in support of the Joint Task Force – National Capital Region (JTF-NCR) in the fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Apart from the drones, they have also been tasked to provide communication to all the areas of responsibility covered by JTF-NCR.

The unit has now progressed and has expanded its coverage from NCR to various parts of Luzon, Cebu in the Visayas, and recently in Mindanao, where they are also very active in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. 124th PAF ARU hopes to connect the island groups of the Philippines and to broaden their reach for service to our country.
